This story starts in Lubbock, TX in August of 2000.  The wind is blowing and fall baseball is starting at the Law. One guy is part of a D-1 coaching staff and the other is a wide-eyed, east-Texas born, freshman pitcher trying to navigate his way into the Big 12.  It's always funny how friendships are born, but looking back, it was obvious all along.

Kurt Kristynik and Brent Brooks have shared dugouts for over 20 years.  First as a coach and player, and later as coaches, giving back to the game that gave them so much. Dugouts have always served up life lessons and countless friendships. For these two, that passion for the dugout has been the foundation of a friendship that bleeds family, faith, and the love of baseball. 


Now, they combine common threads in their life's journey to bring a concept to life.  Welcome, 2 Seam Hat Company! A collaborative effort to bring you a lifestyle hat for baseball junkies, by baseball junkies. From dugouts to dancehalls, we have a fit for everyone.
